Hylles Nisseløb (Elf Run)

Join us as Hylles Nisseløb takes place for the very first time in Dragør! On Sunday 14 December, children and adults are invited for a cosy walk or run starting from Dragør Fort and through the historic town. It’s not a race — but a festive day with elf hats, holiday cheer, and community spirit.

This year marks the debut of Hylles Nisseløb — a brand-new Christmas tradition in Dragør. Forget timekeeping and competition: here it’s all about smiles, togetherness, and a joyful crowd of “nisse” (elf-style) participants exploring the charming cobbled streets and harbour area.

The start and finish line is at Dragør Fort, and your registration includes a festive elf hat. The first 100 participants also receive a small goodie bag, so it’s worth signing up early.

Creative holiday outfits are highly encouraged — there’s even a prize for the most imaginative Christmas or elf costume on the day.

By joining the fun, you’ll also support a meaningful cause: any surplus from the event will be donated to Cycling Without Age, helping elderly and mobility-limited residents enjoy outdoor cycling trips and fresh sea air.
